I get overwhelmed with the tech side of the AI discussion but, as you point out, all bets are off if new breakthroughs take place which I think the AI people are banking on. That's certainly Daniel Kokotajlo's view with AI 2027. As a lowly teacher who is at the mercy of all this, I can only see what's in front of me, but it's still substantial. I'm frankly not worried about teacher robots anytime soon, but with AI embedded in everything, we have to find a way to reengineer learning experiences for students that are mindful of what they are exposed to.
